Finish Creative Ideas is for creatives like me. My problem was having too many ideas and too few outputs.
Most of us face the same kind of problems when trying to turn our creativity into something useful:
-
We fail to complete projects.
-
We overthink and procrastinate.
-
We fear failure.
-
We fall for shiny objects too often.
-
We suffer from self-doubt.
-
We avoid releasing our works out into the public.
Sound familiar? That’s the point.
None of us are immune to the distinct issues that prevent us from doing our best work and reaching our intended audience.
The focus of this platform is to provide insights on how to overcome these problems, implement strategies and move forward to build a portfolio of digital assets that earn income.
It’s a free newsletter.

Scobiphonic is my alter ego.
I’ve played acoustic guitar for over 40 years, mostly banging out basic cowboy chords. I’ve never performed in public. But I’ve always dreamed of being a songwriter.
At age 62, I finally learned music theory. Rick Beato’s YouTube lessons, found during the COVID-19 pandemic, changed my music trajectory.
I wrote song after song with purpose and clarity and discovered my voice. I joined SongTown to understand the music business and improve my craft.
The path ahead is full of work and full of promise.
The newsletter provides two key functions:
1. I write music essays related to the history and significance of protest songs in traditional American life. These are reminders to be aware of social issues and chronicle the stories behind them in song.
2. The site also allows me to distribute and showcase original songs on my own platform.
Scobiphonic is a creative outlet. It lets me present my viewpoint on the world at large.
The universe requires new material from artists to disseminate. This is just my way to contribute.
